Annie the Musical

On March 14th, we had the joy of taking seven youth to see Annie the Musical at the beautiful Benedum Center. Before the show began at 5:30 PM, we gathered for dinner at City Works, where the group impressed us with the dining etiquette they’d learned during our recent etiquette dinner event. One of the young people even took a moment to guide her peers on proper napkin placement, turning the meal into both a delicious and educational experience.

With some extra time before curtain call and good weather on our side, the group strolled over to Millie’s for a sweet treat. The youth lit up as they shared their favorite flavors and the excitement for the evening was building with every step.

At the theater, the group was captivated by the performance. The music, choreography, and heartfelt story of Annie left a lasting impression. “The musical was life-changing for me,” quoted by Alex at the end of the evening. It was inspiring to see the youth so engaged clapping, laughing, and taking in the magic of live theater. The night was a perfect mix of fun, learning, and culture.
