The Youth Zone is closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day after Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

The Drop-In Center is located on the sixth floor of the Wood Street Commons building in downtown Pittsburgh. Our address is:

Our building is at the corner of Wood Street and Third Avenue, adjacent to Point Park University. There is a building sign for Wood Street Commons directly above the entrance.
You will go up a small flight of stairs to enter the Wood Street Commons Building lobby. From the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor where our Youth Zone receptionist will greet you.
Getting here by bus?
Get off at the Wood St. + Third Ave FS bus top.
Getting here by car?
The nearest parking garages are the Third Avenue Garage by Market Square and the Wood Allies Garage. Outside of rush hour, there is also street parking on our block.
Accessibility
The Wood Street Commons building has an accessibility elevator to get guests into the lobby where the main elevators are located. From the lobby, you can take an elevator up to the 6th floor. The entire Drop-In Center is ADA compliant.
Once you’re at the Drop-In Center, you’ll be greeted by our YZ receptionist and given a lock to secure your belongings in a locker. From there, you’ll have a Community Meeting with a YZ team member to share how you’re feeling, your goal(s) for the day, and who you can ask for help. After that, you can take advantage of any of the services at the Drop-In Center.
