Coffee shop vibes from the comfort of the Youth Zone—a place where staff and young people can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa with one another, and have great conversations while strengthening connections.
Starting in September the YZ Café will partner with The Human Library. The Human Library is, in the true sense of the word, a library of people. These events will foster a safe space, where readers can borrow human beings serving as open books and have conversations they would not normally have access to.
Put your knowledge of Pittsburgh to the test on September 2nd at 4pm. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to join a team of adventure seekers who will explore the resources and history of this city we all call home. This event is open to all Zone members who are no longer in high school.
On June 26th this year's annual graduation celebration honored participants who reached important educational and career goals, including graduating from high school, college, trade school, or receiving a training certification.
The 412 Youth Zone held our annual shopping event in June at Going, Going, Gone, giving 77 young people participated this year, making it one of our biggest single day shopping events yet!
