The 412 Youth Zone closed early on a Wednesday in August and organized our first ever summer picnic at the beautiful Rosebarn located in North Park. It was a perfect opportunity for our youth and staff to come together and have a memorable afternoon. The picnic was packed with a wide range of activities to cater to everyone's interests. Our friends from Venture Outdoors joined us and provided kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing experiences for our participants. Everyone had a blast trying out these water sports and discovering new passions.

As the sun shone brightly, the aroma of hot dogs and hamburgers filled the air. Our dedicated YZ staff took charge of grilling up these delicious meals for everyone to enjoy.

As the day neared its end, the youth members engaged in an impromptu dance party to keep the energy high. The beats were pumping, and everyone showed off their dance moves with pure joy. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the festivities and create lasting memories. The summer picnic was a huge success, and we hope to continue offering such engaging events in the future to inspire and encourage our youth to explore new passions and enjoy the outdoors.
